Last working day in this year. 
I found myself in a situation where I had to perform a code review on a small project. 

With the advantage of knowing about the project (since the general direction was set by me), I quickly went through the files. 

I've spent time to ask question and write some lengthy comments that also included some small code snippets with examples to better showcase my idea. 

I know that the developer will take his time to review the notes and make all the necessary changes.

I'm fairly confident that all the comments will help him create better solutions in the future and this makes me extremely happy.
